The
Area
Seven
Bridges Courts is located in the Greene Valley and is adjacent to the west to
Prentiss Creek. Prentiss Creek and the East Branch of the DuPage River meet
under the bridge at Hobson Road and continue to flow a number of miles to meet
the West Branch of the DuPage River. In theory, we could canoe from here to
the Gulf of Mexico. Seven Bridges Golf Course is a public course owned by the
Village of Woodridge and run by a management company. The golf course was
formerly two (2) public courses: the Meadows and the Woods. It originally
opened in the 1930’s. Seven Bridges Golf Course was built in 1990. To the
south of Hobson Road is the Greene Valley Forest Preserve that extends
approximately three (3) miles. To the East of the river was once a sod
farm and the North East corner of 75th street and Greene Road was a
polo field. Just South East of us near 71st Street and Hobson was
the site of a battle of Pottawatomie Indians and settlers in the 1800’s. This
area became a burial ground and is now owned by the Girl Scouts who operate a
camp there.

About Seven
Bridges Courts
The
“Courts” is a town home community of 20 homes on Brassie Court and 26 on
Mashie Court. The common area is bounded by the wood fence on the North, the
brick walls at the East and South ends and by the East edge of the nature path
along the river. The nature path and area immediately outside the walls is
owned and maintained by the Common Area
Maintenance Association (CAM). Part
of our monthly assessment goes to the CAM maintenance fund. Seven Bridges Golf
Course owns the naturalized area west of the nature path. The Courts are
designated as a planned unit development (PUD).

Seven Bridges Courts Association (SBCA)
The
Board of Directors, whose seven members are
elected by the unit owners every September, conducts the day-to-day
association business. The Directors meet as needed, usually monthly and all
owners are encouraged to attend these meetings. The date, time and meeting
place is posted on the notice board on the mailboxes.
To keep
all owners informed of current matters, the association publishes a newsletter
as often as needed to all residents. Your copy will be emailed to you.
Please
read the Rules and Regulations Manual. This document
highlights the most common matters addressed in our Declaration of
Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions, Easements and Party Wall Rights for Seven
Bridges Courts Association (the "Covenants"). The Covenants is a legal document that dictates
how our association is to be run. The Rules and Regulations Manual is a
document of rules that adds to the Declaration of Covenants.
